Hi! My name is Nicole DiBlasio, and I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at Davenport Ridge Elementary!
I've always loved working with children, and I've worked with them in all kinds of capacities; from leading birthday parties to being a camp counselor and coaching a girls' travel softball team. Even when I was in middle school, I would volunteer at my after school programs to help out with the younger kids.
When I was in Kindergarten, I would play teacher with my great grandmother, give her assignments to complete, and even a report card! After completing my undergraduate degree at UConn in English and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Bridgeport, my dream has become a reality!
Kindergarten is such an exciting and important time, and I feel very lucky to be part of such a pivotal time in your child's educational career. I'm looking forward to a great year filled with many learning experiences!
