At Davenport we follow the Everyday Mathematics Program.
It is much more than just numbers! Children learn about patterns, weather, routines, the calendar, and the many manipulatives they will be using to help them learn valuable problem-solving skills.
There are also many games this program uses as part of the curriculum to help children learn while keeping them engaged. We play some of these games in class, but there is a website as well.
Your child will soon be coming home with a login and password for you to access Everyday Mathematics online together to find out more about the program and for your child to practice with the fun online games!
